Achieving healthy weight loss seems impossible because our attempts at losing weight often lead to failure. Unfortunately, we are unaware that the typical tactics recommended by our doctors, dieticians, and trainers are actually unhealthy and therefore cause us to fail. In order to lose weight successfully we need to understand how food affects the body. We also need to put in the work necessary to change our habits and eat appropriately.

Our diet has been directed towards foods that provide poor quality energy and building blocks for our body. Many of us are too unhealthy to eat cheap food despite the fact that it is the majority of what we eat. We have been fooled into thinking that processed foods are equivalent to healthy whole foods. This means that our bodies are being built with inferior building blocks and we are experiencing more illness and pain.
There is an answer, eat high quality foods. High quality does not necessarily mean expensive. What it actually means is unprocessed and minimally processed. Bars and shakes are not equivalent to low glycemic vegetables and meat/fish/eggs. Eat whole foods.
