What is the optimal diet for humans? In the last 2000 years, humans have learned how to manipulate genetics and control the freedom of our food sources. This has allowed us to produce sweeter vegetation and fatter animals that are pleasing for us to eat. But does that mean that they are optimal for us to eat?
What is your goal? Your goal determines what you find optimal. For those of us that are focused on health, the optimal diet will be the diet that allows us to remain metabolically healthy. However, if you focus is on weight loss, you will allow less than healthy foods into your diet to achieve optimal weight loss.
The goal of the diet determines the which foods are included and seen as optimal.
Health and happiness take work. Make working on it part of your daily routine.
