Is the standard american diet actually an addiction diet? Is it possible that we are encouraged from a very young age to eat a substance that we will become addicted to and then ruin our health? Is it possible that we are eating a diet that ensures that we will become dependent on medication to live a life that is not even enjoyable?
It is so frustrating. There has been evidence for years that sugar is addictive. That sugar stimulates the brain the same way other drugs do. But we feed it to our children!
What is your goal? If you would like to improve your health and get your weight under control, start by eating a healthy diet because your diet determines how your body is built. As Dr. Berry consistently tells us, there is a proper human diet that will give us the nutrition and energy that we need. Health and happiness take work. Make working on it part of your daily routine.
